Welcome
About me
I am a Lecturer in Physics (Medical Physics) at RCSI Bahrain. I completed my BSc in Physics at the University of Galway in 2018 and my PhD in Physics in 2023, supported by a Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship from the Irish Research Council.
My research brings together clinical ultrasound, shear wave elastography, Doppler imaging and tissue biomechanics. I am interested in how measurements of tissue stiffness and blood flow can improve our understanding of disease and support clinical assessment. I collaborate with clinical and academic colleagues and supervise undergraduate medical student research.
Teaching
I am the cross-campus module lead for Medical Applications of Physics (MAP) across RCSI Dublin, Bahrain and Penang. I also contribute to teaching on the TSH and CFR modules at RCSI Bahrain.
I develop interactive simulations to help students explore the physics behind medicine and support their revision.
